The Beauty Routine of a Wedding Morning

The morning of my wedding day, I woke up and did the same thing I do every other morning: wash my face and brush my teeth. Except for this time, it was a little different. This time, I had to get myself ready for an entirely new life with someone else. As part of that process, I needed to take care of myself and the person who would be spending their days beside me for decades on end. It’s a responsibility that’s both thrilling and terrifying at once – one that requires you to put your best foot forward in every aspect of your life while still being true to yourself. Read on for some beauty tips from my routine so you can find a balance between being yourself and being the woman he deserves!

Wedding-morning beauty tips

I know you’ve seen your fair share of bridal beauty routine guides, but I’m here to tell you what goes on in the morning before a wedding. First, of course, there’s no time for primping and prepping – it’s all about getting out the door as quickly as possible so that we can get back to enjoying our special day. That said, some essentials make this process much easier. For me, these include dry shampoo (I go through bottles of this stuff!), my favorite lipstick (a touch up is always needed throughout the day), deodorant (the last thing I want is any unpleasant smells around), and eyelash extensions for when mine inevitably fall off during pictures!

I usually get up around 6 am on the morning of my wedding day. I’m not a morning person, but I know that the most important part of the whole day is how you feel in your dress and makeup (and hair) when you walk down the aisle. Also, it’s very important to me to take good care of my skin, so it looks its best for pictures throughout the day. So, what do I do? Well, there are many different things that people will recommend for their beauty routine before getting married, but this is what works for me.
