Having your photographer or videographer submit ensures we have the correct copyright requirements to feature your beautiful day and the professionals can deal with all the technical stuff such as resizing photos.<\/p>\n
If your wedding is a good fit for Merrin Grace Floral Design, we\u2019ll let you and your photographer or videographer know within 10 working days.<\/p>\n
Please note, we see the beauty and unique, special touches in every real wedding submission but sadly we\u2019re unable to feature them all on Merrin Grace Floral Design.<\/p>\n
Merrin Grace Floral Design is known for featuring high-quality photography in a wide range of styles from reportage to fine art. Although we have a particular penchant for timeless, natural light, editorial and film photography.<\/p>\n
Please note that we don\u2019t feature highly-edited photos or lots of flash photography, over or under-exposed photos, or submissions made up of predominantly black and white photos (a couple of black and white photos is fine).<\/p>\n

Before submitting a real wedding, styled engagement shoot, or proposal, please check with the couple that they are happy to be featured.<\/p>\n
The easiest way to submit is to share a link to your blog post of the wedding or shoot to\u00a0info@merringracefloraldesign.com or using the form posted below.<\/p>\n
Alternatively please send your submission via a file-sharing site such as a link to your\u00a0Dropbox\u00a0folder or\u00a0We Transfer\u00a0to\u00a0info@merringracefloraldesign.com.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what to include in your submission:<\/p>\n
As a general guide, our readers love detail shots to inspire their own weddings \u2013 think hairstyles, bouquets, favors, decor, centerpieces etc. They also appreciate full-length shots of dresses and suits, group shots of bridesmaids\/groomsmen and romantic portraits of couples in love. As well as shots of any unique or personal touches.<\/p>\n
We prefer to feature submissions that haven\u2019t been featured on other wedding blogs \u2013 this is so we can ensure the content on Merrin Grace Floral Design is fresh and inspiring for our readers. However, we don\u2019t mind if a submission has been featured in a magazine.<\/p>\n
Once a wedding, photoshoot or film has been featured on Merrin Grace Floral Design, you are free to submit elsewhere. Although we kindly ask that you and the vendors involved wait 30 days\u00a0after the publish date\u00a0before submitting to another wedding blog or publication.<\/p>\n
We do our very best to respond to submission emails promptly (whether the submission is a good fit for Merrin Grace Floral Design or not). However, due to the high number of emails and submissions we receive, sometimes emails can slip through the net. If you haven\u2019t heard back from us within 10 working days, please feel free to chase us up or submit elsewhere.<\/p>\n
While we value and appreciate all the hard work, talent and artistry that goes into creating and documenting a real wedding or styled shoot, we are only able to accept weddings or shoots that we think will be a good fit for our readers and align with our blog\u2019s aesthetic.<\/p>\n
If your submission is accepted you\u2019ll receive a confirmation email and, if you have provided everything necessary for the feature, your feature will be scheduled into the Merrin Grace Floral Design editorial calendar and you\u2019ll be given a publication date.<\/p>\n
We only schedule weddings and shoots once we receive everything needed for the feature (ie. photos correctly sized, full vendor credits). Then\u00a0there is usually a 4-8 week wait\u00a0before the feature or shoot goes live.<\/p>\n
We will promote your feature across our social media networks where we have 1.2 million followers collectively.<\/p>\n
We will credit all vendors (that are included in the submission info) on Facebook and Instagram. However, we will simply credit the photographer on images shared to Pinterest. Images pinned from Merrin Grace Floral Design link directly to the original post where followers can find the full credit list.<\/p>\n
